Aleksandra Chaushova
Aleksandra Chaushova, born in Sofia, Bulgaria, lives and works in Brussels. Her practice is diverse, including drawing, graphic printing and writing, her works often find their point of departure in archives or documents. She has exhibited at WIELS Center for Contemporary Art, Museum M – Leuven, Maison d’art actuel des Chartreux in Belgium, Neue Museum - Nurnberg, among others. She won a Vocatio prize by the Fondation Belge de la Vocation and the contemporary art prize BAZA in2015, Sofam Prize for best solo show at Art on Paper 2016.
