Glass (With the generous help of Het GlazenHuis and Mathieu Grodet)
Edition of 2
This piece of two glasses stuck together is a reference to my grandfather. He loved Jenever, drank it every day with a teaspoon of sugar and a rolled cigarette. As a young father he was sentenced to prison and work camp in WW2 - often isolated and mistreated - for rebellion against the Nazi's. He lived to 94, and his wife 92. He would often say how lucky we are and that 'man and woman are one', referring to his long term marriage.
